Greetings from Mrs.Smith's Kindergarten class!

In Kindergarten your child will explore lots of curriculum and social skills. Your child will be expected to read at a Level B. Children are expected to identify all their letters and sounds, write at an emergent level and understand number sense and mathematical applications. Please read the weekly newsletter to find out what is going on in the classroom. Weekly homework is found at the bottom and should be turned in on Friday. In order for your child to be successful please read together each evening.

About me..

I graduated from Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor's degree in English. With an increasing desire to teach, I went back to school and obtained my teaching certification.

I look forward to working with all my students and anticipate success every step of the way.
